Saturday, July 4, 2015 will always remain a special day for Bernard Voyer. The Rimouski wildlife reserve invited him to inaugurate the Explorateur trail leading to the peak named for him. A number of panels describing his main expeditions are dotted along the 4-km trail, which leads to a 532-metre summit with a lovely view over the Rimouski wildlife reserve.

He concluded the day by saying that he was “honoured and especially touched by this initiative. In fact, it took my breath away!
