In 2001, Sudbury’s Laurentian University awarded to Bernard Voyer an Honorary PhD in Geography in Geography for his remarkable contribution to geographical knowledge. This distinction is presented to individuals who have attained a high degree of excellence in their careers.
This is Bernard’s first PhD, he will received a second one from the Université du Québec on October 22, 2005.
